Wedding Blog - Emily & Kevin

Emily and Kevin met at work over their passion for food. Their wedding took place at the Squamish valley golf club in Squamish B.C. The ceremony was situated next to the 18th hole over looking the beautiful Squamish Valley mountains. Classical guitar was played while the guests arrived and also during the cocktail hour. Guests enjoyed the beautiful cake Emily and Kevin made with love along with the homemade jam as a gift to take home that decorated the tables. The couples first dance was Songbird by Fleetwood Mac followed by the daughter/father dance When you need me by Bruce Springsteen and mother/son song For my son by Mikki Virtue. After dessert a huge dance floor was created outside the clubhouse. Everyone put on glow sticks and danced under the moon and stars. The guests enjoyed a selection of all different genres but particularly loved Motown and Top 40 hits. At one point everyone in the wedding formed a big line that turned into a huge circle and everyone danced and jumped together. The dance floor was packed all night and Kevin's aunt came over to tell me it was her favourite wedding she had ever attended. Emily and Kevin will be enjoying their honeymoon at Nita Lake Lodge in whistler. Congratulations Emily and Kevin.
